Project Scheduler/Planner
Located in St. Louis, MO, this role involves working on exciting projects in the energy and utility sectors, delivering schedules and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Scheduling & Planning

Develop and manage the master schedule in Primavera P6 (or client tools).

Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.

Track progress, forecast impacts, and assess schedule risks across all workstreams.

Conduct critical path, what‑if, and optimization analyses.

Align schedules, reporting, and baselines with the client’s on‑site scheduler.

Field & Site Coordination to visit the site multiple times per week to gather progress and validate schedule updates.

Review contractor look‑ahead schedules, manpower plans, and productivity.

Verify assumptions and updates through direct field coordination with superintendents and project teams.

Prepare weekly/monthly schedule reports, dashboards, and leadership updates.

Communicate variances, risks, delays, and recommended mitigations.

Participate in planning meetings, progress reviews, and coordination sessions.

Support earned value, KPIs, and productivity reporting.

Identify schedule risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities.

Update schedules to reflect design changes, procurement delays, and field issues.

Maintain schedule baselines and support change management processes.

What we’re looking for:

8+ years of experience in project scheduling, planning, and controls.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Extensive experience supporting generation projects (natural gas, coal, combined cycle, or utility‑scale power).

Experience supporting EPC contractors, utilities, or OEMs in major energy infrastructure builds is preferred.

Proven background in large, complex, multiyear construction programs with field engagement.

Strong working proficiency in Primavera P6, schedule analysis, and critical path method (CPM).

Ability to work on site in South St. Louis County several times per week (local candidates strongly preferred).

Strong communication, collaboration, and reporting skills.

Pay Range $125,000 - $140,000
