Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000+ (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview
A well-established public accounting environment is seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support a growing client base across tax preparation, planning, and advisory services. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys working directly with clients and contributing to a collaborative, relationship-driven team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
* Provide proactive tax planning and compliance support to clients
* Assist with financial statement preparation and related reporting
* Research tax issues and apply current regulations to client situations
* Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies and filings
* Collaborate with internal team members to meet deadlines during peak cycles
Qualifications
* Active CPA license required
* 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred
* Strong experience with business and individual tax returns
* Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
* Excellent communication and client-service skills
* Experience with tax software platforms commonly used in public accounting environments
