Job Overview
Quality Engineer Associate – Grand Prairie, TX – Supporting the PrSM program. Working flexible hours with occasional travel to Lockheed Martin production sites and suppliers across the United States. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems to ensure high‑quality production of materials and products.
What You Will Be Doing
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Develop and maintain quality evaluation and control systems.
Design and analyze inspection and testing processes.
Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis.
Audit quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies.
Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation is compliant with requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM‑related discipline from an accredited college.
Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma.
Willingness/ability to travel up to 25% of time to support program issues and needs.
Ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines, and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes, and auditing/surveying capabilities.
Familiarity with GD&T.
Strong problem‑solving skills, corrective action, and causal analysis techniques.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Schedule and Travel
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Part‑time Remote Telework may be allowed for a portion of the schedule.
Travel: Up to 25% of time.
