We are hiring for a 13‑week contract with higher base pay and benefits for purchase. The role offers a schedule that fits your lifestyle and opportunities for full‑time or part‑time conversions, as well as contract extensions depending on team coverage.
Responsibilities
Provides direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation during cardiac/interventional radiology procedures.
Performs all technical aspects of nursing care within established policies and procedures of the hospital.
Functions under the supervision of the Department Director and Nursing Director.
Conducts patient assessment duties such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications instructed by the physician, and maintaining accurate records during cardiac catheterization laboratory/Interventional Radiology procedures.
Assists in life‑saving actions such as CPR and defibrillation.
Monitors patients during conscious sedation and administers medication during advanced interventional cardiac/peripheral procedures such as STEMI, PCI, balloon angioplasty, and stent placement.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree of Nursing (minimum).
Florida RN license.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year experience in the Cath Lab.
