Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.
Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Director with the overall responsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy and BSA mission/vision.
The Nurse Manager serves as a vital link between management and the clinical staff and strives to achieve efficient, safe, and cost‑effective patient care.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
BSN
Current RN License in the State of Texas.
ACLS, PALS, or NRP corresponding to the area of service.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Previous Clinic leadership experience strongly preferred.
EPIC experience strongly preferred.
Position requires fluency in the English language to function in the job environment appropriately.
