Now Hiring: Audiologist (Active Duty Officer) – U.S. Navy
Are you an experienced Audiologist looking to take your career to the next level while serving your country? The U.S. Navy is seeking highly qualified Audiologists to join our Active Duty team and provide critical hearing healthcare services to Sailors and Marines worldwide.
Position Overview:
As a Navy Audiologist and commissioned officer, you will:
Diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders
Conduct hearing conservation programs
Support operational readiness for service members
Work with advanced medical technology in diverse clinical settings
Serve in hospitals, clinics, and potentially deployed environments
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Audiology (Au.D. preferred)
Active, unrestricted state license to practice audiology
Board certification through the American Board of Audiology (ABA)
or
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
U.S. citizenship
Ability to meet physical and medical standards for Navy service
Eligibility for commissioning as a Navy Officer (typically ages 21–42, waivers may apply)
Preferred Qualifications:
Significant professional experience in audiology
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Leadership potential and desire to serve in a team-oriented environment
Compensation & Benefits (Active Duty Officer):
Competitive Salary:
Based on rank and years of service (starting approx. $117K–$148K+)
Tax-Free Allowances:
Housing (BAH) and food (BAS)
