Apache Kafka Development Lead - Healthcare Industry

Position Description
Act as the functional and technical lead for Kafka implementation
Enabling real time capabilities – designing application and proposing architecture for real time applications
Managing architecture for performance tuning related to Kafka
Working the development team of 5-6 developers on the implementation of Kafka
Provide input to development team to implement Kafka
Required Skills
Confluent or Apache Kafka experience (Apache preferred) – implementing from scratch, OnPrem and also Cloud (Azure or AWS, mostly Azure here)
Hands‑on experience building Real time data streaming experience (ex: Rest APIs) ex: streaming change data capture
3+ years of Architecture design experience within Kafka
3+ years SQL query and debugging, performance improvement experience is an absolute must
3+ years hands‑on development in Web Technologies – Angular or React, .Net to create RestAPIs very highly preferred (must for now)
AI assisted coding experience a must using Github Copilot or similar tools
Bonus Skills
Healthcare prior experience to understand healthcare data
EDI 834 and 820 knowledge
FACETS, FACETS extensions, and Member experience a must and surrounding application areas
FHIR API experience a bonus
