Ottawa Infotainment Internship Program – “Alligator Wrestling Program” (Summer 2
Ottawa Infotainment Inc., Detroit, MI, United States
Most internships ease you in. This one throws you into the swamp.
At Ottawa Infotainment, we are building the future of software‑defined vehicles. Real hardware. Real software. Real stakes. That means real problems. The kind that do not come with clean documentation or step‑by‑step instructions.
We call it the Alligator Wrestling Program because that is what it feels like.
We are looking for the brightest, most curious minds. Engineers, designers, and builders who are ready to take on messy, ambiguous, high‑impact challenges. The faint of heart need not apply. Think less “intern,” more Indiana Jones with a debugger.
You will not be shadowing. You will be building, breaking, fixing, and figuring things out alongside our core team. You will work on real production‑grade systems across infotainment, domain controllers, and user experiences.
You will be expected to own your work, ask questions, and push through ambiguity.
The interns who thrive here bring an adventurous, positive attitude, a can‑do entrepreneurial mindset, and a willingness to learn whatever it takes to get the job done.
If you like structure and predictability, this is not your program. If you like a challenge, welcome to the swamp.
No, you will not actually wrestle an alligator. But you will face the occasional crocodile. The big, ugly problems that sit in the middle of a project and dare you to solve them.
