We are seeking a new
Project Controls Specialist
to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a
Project Controls Specialist , you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located onsite at our client location in
Florida
and requires a daily presence on the site.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and critical path analysis
Provide integrated scheduling and cost estimating support for our client’s capital program
Provides support for scheduling and cost estimating, ensuring effective project planning and control through rigorous schedule maintenance and budget forecasting
Prepare conceptual, preliminary and detailed cost estimates, including quantity take-offs
Perform schedule updates, variance analysis and delay impact assessments to identify potential risks
Prepare project controls reports, dashboards and performance metrics for PMO leadership
Coordinate with project teams to align estimates and schedules with the operational constraints of an active business operation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related field
5–10 years of experience in project controls, scheduling and cost estimating for construction or infrastructure projects
Demonstrated experience on maritime or port projects
Proficiency in scheduling tools (ie, Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore) and cost management software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
Have great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in risk analysis and evaluating the impacts of potential changes on cost and schedule
Familiarity with public‑sector capital program reporting

Salary Range: $118,040-157,040. Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
