Job Summary
Responsible for developing software programs per technical specifications following programming standards and procedures, performing testing, executing program modifications, and responding to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding.

Key Responsibilities

Applies secure coding and UI standards and best practices to develop, enhance, and maintain IT applications and programs.

Assists with configures, analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains program code and applications.

Performs unit testing and secure code testing, and issues resolution.

Follows the process for source code management.

Participates in integration, systems, and performance testing and tuning of code.

Participates in peer secure code reviews.

Harvest opportunities for re-usability of code, configurations, procedures, and techniques.

Develops customizations using

MOCA ,

SQL ,

DDA ,

Reports ,

Labels , and

PageBuilder .

Implements enhancements, defect fixes, and small-to-medium feature requests.

Participates in requirement analysis and provides technical feasibility input.

Performs unit testing, integration testing, and supports UAT cycles.

Maintains strong code quality, documentation, and adherence to BY WMS standards.

Collaborates with functional analysts, QA teams, and senior developers to deliver changes.

Supports warehouse operations during deployment, hyper‑care, and production steady state.

Troubleshoots system issues and provides root‑cause analysis.

Develops inbound/outbound interfaces using BY Integrator, APIs, or message queues (if applicable).

Solution validation testing – validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in

Blue Yonder/RedPrairie/JDA WMS development .

Hands‑on experience with MOCA & SQL, DDA/Reports/Labels, PageBuilder development, Integrator and interface troubleshooting.

Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain workflows.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs, MQ/Kafka integration, or ESB platforms.

Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Knowledge of BY WMS upgrades or cloud versions.
