
Staff Software Engineer - DevOps, Kubernetes, Helm

**Primary responsibilities:*** Posses expertise in utilizing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform to provision Azure cloud based resources.* Apply best practices for unit, integration and end to end testing of custom software solutions developed internally.* Troubleshoot a wide range of issues spanning Azure Cloud, Kubernetes Platform, 3rd Party Tools, and internally developed software solutions.* Innovate and implement scalable DevOps solutions using Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD to automate deployment pipelines and ensure seamless software delivery.* Develop custom tools and integrations with GitHub Actions to enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) capabilities.* Leverage Java, Quarkus, and Java Operator SDK to create sophisticated operator-based solutions, enhancing operational efficiency across cloud environments.* Design and maintain Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) to extend Kubernetes capabilities tailored to organizational needs.* Mentor and guide teams in adopting best practices for DevOps and infrastructure as code, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business objectives, driving efficiency and excellence throughout the delivery process.* Own the operational posture of our high scale modern continuous delivery framework, ensuring SLA’s are met**Skills and Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 10 years of progressive experience in software development and DevOps.* Profound knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration, Helm package management, and ArgoCD deployment automation.* Expertise in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, coupled with strong Java and Quarkus programming skills.* Experience in using Java Operator SDK for developing custom Kubernetes operators.* Proficient in creating and managing Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) in Kubernetes.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of designing efficient, scalable solutions.* Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing among team members.**Our Values**All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
