Skills and Competencies
7+ years of overall software engineering or integration experience, with 4+ years of SAP Integration Suite experience and experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is a plus
Deep, hands‑on expertise with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API‑led connectivity, advanced API design, deployment automation, and platform governance
Strong proficiency in Java, Java Scripting, DataWeave, and advanced object‑oriented and integration design principles
Proven experience designing, developing, and optimizing highly scalable, secure RESTful APIs in enterprise environments
Expert‑level understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, event‑driven systems, and asynchronous messaging
Extensive experience integrating complex enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and SuccessFactors, leveraging MuleSoft connectors, APIs, streaming, and event‑based architectures
Strong experience with cloud‑native integration architectures on AWS or Azure, including networking, security, and high‑availability design
Advanced knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including Maven, Jenkins, Git, automated testing, and deployment strategies
Proven ability to architect, optimize, and govern MuleSoft solutions for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and system design skills, with the ability to solve complex, large‑scale integration challenges
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing technical and business leadership
Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI‑related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization
MuleSoft Developer Certification (MCD – Level 2 or higher) is strongly preferred. MuleSoft Architect Certification is a plus

Education

Responsibilities
This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and governing enterprise‑grade integration solutions that enable scalable, secure, and high‑performing business systems.
Design, develop, and deliver enterprise‑grade MuleSoft integrations and APIs with a strong focus on quality, performance, and reliability
Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and governance models across the organization
Partner with enterprise architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable integration solutions
Oversee and support end‑to‑end delivery of MuleSoft solutions, from design through production support
Drive performance tuning, security hardening, and scalability improvements across MuleSoft applications
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MuleSoft developers and integration engineers
Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical design discussions
Evaluate and adopt new MuleSoft capabilities, cloud services, and AI‑driven integration approaches
Champion AI‑enabled integration use cases, such as intelligent routing, automation, decision support, and orchestration of AI agents via APIs
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance standards
Act as a key escalation point for providing root‑cause analysis and long‑term remediation strategies

For US‑based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $116,500.00 – $169,000.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full‑time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
