$45,000-$50,000 on a contract rate
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Document Writer / Document Analyst to support a quality-focused team by managing and maintaining controlled documents and processes. This role will centralize document ownership currently distributed across multiple team members and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities
Author, revise, and maintain controlled documents, including SOPs and methods
Coordinate and route documents through review and approval workflows
Manage periodic document reviews (e.g., 3-year review cycles)
Address and resolve comments or issues raised by analysts related to methods or SOPs
Oversee and manage Change Controls, including routing and tracking through a designated system (e.g., Salesforce or similar tool)
Facilitate document-related training workflows and ensure proper documentation of changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment with quality standards
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in document control, technical writing, or a related field
Strong technical writing and document management skills
Background in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) strongly preferred
Candidates with QA experience should have a solid understanding of QC concepts
Experience managing Change Controls and document routing systems
Ability to interpret technical content and translate required changes clearly and accurately
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
