Car Concepts is hiring a Store Manager in Training (SMIT) to develop future leaders for our growing automotive service locations across the DFW metro area. This role provides hands‑on training in store operations, leadership, customer experience, and financial performance under the guidance of experienced Store Managers and Market Leaders.
What You’ll Do
Train across all areas of store operations (sales, service, inventory, scheduling, and administration)
Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with our “Unreasonable Hospitality” philosophy
Learn to manage key performance metrics, labor, and store‑level financials
Support hiring, training, and coaching of store team members
Build strong relationships with customers, fleets, and local business accounts
Ensure safety, compliance, and inventory accuracy
Prepare to step into a Store Manager role
What We’re Looking For
Automotive retail, tire, quick service, or customer‑focused management experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Results‑driven with a passion for team development and customer experience
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
