Job Summary:

The Electronic Health Record Specialist (EHR) will provide guidance and training to staff, and make changes to the EHR software system as delegated. In addition, this role will ensure system set up and workflows to ensure demonstrated adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, identify gaps, training opportunities, and process improvements. This position is responsible for managing the electronic health records system help desk and be responsible to staff training needs. This position supports the Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence, Clinical Staff and Leadership. Position is expected to possess comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health industry, health records system, and technology resources

Key Responsibilities:

Administrator of electronic health records system task ticket system for internal staff.

Tracks agencies task tickets for EHR vendor

Manages workflow, troubleshooting, and compliance issues with EHR Client Portal and Provider Portal.

Responsible for the revision and/or development of agency forms inside electronic health records

Ensures electronic health records forms and assessments comply with governing bodies.

Responsible for reporting compliance with the Electronic Health Records system.

Assist with training staff and managers on EHR workflows.

Works with managers to identify training and compliance needs of clinical and support staff.

Responsible for maintaining clean domain with EHR system.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in social services field, medical, quality assurance, or applicable experience
Experience:

Proven ability to develop, implement, train and coach staff in various roles in a fast‑paced nonprofit environment.
One year of data management and compliance experience.
Multi‑site/location, integrated health system and/or mental health care experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Health Records, data analytics and compliance
Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and feedback related to EHR compliance
