Physical Therapist Assistant Job Opening in Columbus, NE - Columbus Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover, improve mobility, and achieve their functional goals.

Compensation
$40,000 - $70,000
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current (or eligible) PTA license in the state of Nebraska
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for helping patients improve their quality of life
Ability to work in a team-focused, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
Provide hands‑on therapeutic interventions and guide patients through prescribed exercises
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and overall wellness
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care
Skills
Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Ability to follow and implement treatment plans accurately
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients
Detail‑oriented with accurate documentation skills
Ability to monitor patient progress and report changes effectivelyTeam‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
Time management and ability to handle a fast‑paced environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems
