ABOUT ROSIE'S RECOVERY CENTER
Rosie's Recovery Center is seeking Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselors (CADC) and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselors (LDAC) to provide direct SUD treatment services across our outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, DUI/DWI, and withdrawal management programs.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team in a fully accredited, Community Mental Health organization that values clinical quality, documentation integrity, and evidence-based practice. If you are a credentialed SUD counselor who leads with compassion and documents with precision, we want to meet you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling across OP, IOP, PHP, and DUI/DWI programs
Conduct ASAM-based assessments and contribute to individualized treatment plan development
Facilitate group therapy: psychoeducation, process groups, relapse prevention, and skills-based curriculum
Complete SOAP documentation within required timeframes per COMAR and TJC standards
Coordinate with clinical team, case managers, psychiatry, and external providers
Deliver DUI/DWI education curriculum per Maryland court-approved guidelines; provide court attendance reporting
Support Withdrawal Management clients with motivational support and treatment engagement
Assess clients for employment interest and connect to supported employment resources
Comply with mandatory reporting requirements and maintain a professional credential in good standing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active CADC or LDAC credential in good standing — Maryland Board of Professional Counselors & Therapists (required)
Experience facilitating group and individual SUD counseling (required)
Familiarity with ASAM criteria for level-of-care determination
Proficiency in SOAP documentation and individualized treatment planning
Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards
Trauma-informed approach and strong interpersonal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in IOP or PHP settings
Co-occurring disorder treatment experience
Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT frameworks
Experience with court-referred or DUI/DWI populations
