Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and flexible
Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist
to join our imaging team in Durham, NC. This role requires proficiency in multiple imaging modalities to support high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, or Mammography based on certification)
Ensure high-quality images for accurate interpretation by radiologists
Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures clearly
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols
Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
Additional ARRT certification(s) in CT, MRI, Mammography, or other modality required/preferred
Current BLS certification
Valid North Carolina state licensure (if applicable)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Experience
1–3+ years of experience in multiple imaging modalities
Experience in a hospital or high-volume outpatient setting
Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems
