About Our Family

We are a warm and busy family, with four children—one in college and three high schoolers actively preparing for major milestones like graduation and college. Our household is full of transitions and excitement as we balance school, extracurriculars, and all the details that come with the next big steps in our children's lives.

Big pillars in our home are meal prep, home organization, and event planning. We’re currently focusing on preparing for a graduation party, helping our kids get ready for the transition to college this summer, and organizing our summer travel. As a family, we value maintaining a peaceful, organized home environment that allows us to focus on spending quality time together. We understand the importance of structure and communication to keep everything running smoothly, and we strive to ensure that our home remains a welcoming space for all. We are looking for someone who can help us manage the logistics and provide support, so we can devote more time to family activities and milestones.

In addition to our busy household, we also have two indoor cats who are a beloved part of the family. As we continue to navigate this next chapter, we are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to help us keep everything on track while allowing us to focus on our family’s growth and milestones.

What We’re Looking For:

Calm, kind, and peaceful with a gentle personality

Proactive and self-sufficient, able to problem-solve independently

Detail-oriented and organized, with a genuine love for home organization and project completion

Comfortable working in a busy household with teenagers and pets

Able to manage logistics, meal prep, and household tasks efficiently

Flexible and dependable, with the ability to adapt to our family’s changing needs

Someone who thrives on relieving the mental load for a family focused on milestones like graduation and college preparations

Capable of taking initiative and seeing projects through from start to finish (whether it’s event planning, organizing systems, or coordinating schedules)

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management & Organization:

Create, manage, and maintain household systems (closets, pantry, storage, etc.)

Reset and tidy rooms daily (e.g., load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas) and ensure the home is prepped for bi-weekly cleaning services

Partner with the family regarding schedules/tasks using Skylight, ensuring tasks are updated

Manage seasonal changes (clothing swaps, holiday décor, organizing storage unit)

Prepare for events, including graduation party and college preparations

Coordinate donations and pick-ups/drops and store returns

Inventory Management & Errands:

Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies

Create and manage running household supply lists

Coordinate and manage orders from Amazon, Whole Foods, Target, etc.

Run errands (grocery shopping, returns, gift shopping)

Mail Sorting & Package Deliveries:

Open and sort incoming mail and packages

Break down boxes and recycle as needed

Ensure packages are properly stored or delivered to the appropriate areas

Meal Planning & Preparation:

Weekly menu planning and creation (5 dinners a week) for a gluten-free family

Shop for weekly groceries (including pantry staples and ingredients needed for weekly meals)

Prepare dinner by getting all the ingredients prepped, so it is easier to execute and cook the meal

One batch cooked weekly meal

Prep healthy snacks for the week (e.g., cut veggies, fruit, hummus, etc.)
