We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated

Pharmacy Technician Day Floater

at our main campus hospital campus.

The Pharmacy Department at MSK applies a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, where the emphasis is on therapeutic efficacy and safety. We deliver comprehensive, clinical and dispensing services in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings through a decentralized satellite pharmacy services model.

Role Overview

Perform Inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking) via Epic Willow Inventory system.

Complete annual competency assessments.

Maintain pharmacy files and records.

Assist with pharmacy inspections.

Adhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.

Familiar with pharmacy technology such as Omnicell cabinets and Robot Rx.

Prepare IV sterile compounds using Epic dispense prep

Be familiar with Epic compounding and repackaging.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred.

PTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPhT) required.

Omnicell experience is beneficial.

Additional Information

Location: Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY

Schedule: Varied shift up to every other weekend coverage, primarily days

Reports to: Assistant Director, Pharmacy
