We are looking for compassionate, dependable **Dietary Aides** who enjoy working in a team environment and want meaningful work serving older adults.If you are reliable, positive, and enjoy fast-paced teamwork, we would love to meet you!## Position SummaryThe Dietary Aide supports daily kitchen and dining operations by assisting with meal service, food preparation, sanitation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff. This position works closely with the Cook and Dietary Supervisor to ensure excellent dining service and food safety standards.## What You’ll Do* Assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and meal service* Serve residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner* Clear and sanitize dishes, trays, and kitchen equipment* Operate commercial dishwasher and monitor sanitation standards* Check and document dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer levels* Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage areas, and dining spaces* Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors and work surfaces* Store groceries safely and maintain organized food storage areas* Remove trash and recycling as needed* Support cooks and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations* Participate in training and ongoing education* Collaborate positively with all departments within the community## What We’re Looking For* Team player with a strong work ethic* Reliable attendance and punctuality* Positive attitude and willingness to learn* Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards* Compassion for seniors and desire to serve others## Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)* Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but **not required*** Ability to read instructions, follow recipes, and communicate effectively## Physical Requirements* Frequent standing and walking throughout shift* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment## Work Environment* Assisted Living & Memory Care community kitchen* Team-oriented environment focused on resident satisfaction* Noise level typically low to moderateMeaningful work serving seniors
