Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.

1 year of experience in program management, security engineering, risk management, or compliance.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with leveraging Google-native AI, scripting, and automation tools to streamline business processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Experience with modernizing governance by using generative AI to analyze security data and accelerate the creation of artifacts like SSPs.

Experience with organizing data and applying business context to implement AI-driven solutions that scale compliance and control tracking resources.

The Google Compliance team makes sure that our business is always consistent with the current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. You are thorough in all you do and see to it that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered.

As a Compliance Analyst within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, you will drive the modernization of compliance operations through Google-native generative AI and advanced automation. You will serve as a technical enabler, applying knowledge of compliance frameworks to scale risk management and streamline traditional governance processes. This role focuses on building scalable, AI-driven solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compliance work‑streams across the organization.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $90,500‑$128,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Foster transparent communication channels with all partners to build long‑term trust and ensure collaborative success across project landscapes.
