Ambulatory Medical Practices MSO, Inc. (AMP), supporting ColumbiaDoctors, is seeking enthusiastic and professional Front Desk Medical Receptionists for high-volume medical practice locations throughout Westchester, Rockland, and Orange Counties.
About AMP: AMP is a Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides clinical and administrative support for a multi‑specialty practice, covering cardiology, vascular disease, internal medicine, obesity, gastroenterology, and endocrinology, with more than 50 providers across several offices.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in day‑to‑day front‑end operations of the practice, including patient flow.
Meet and greet patients and visitors, manage scheduling and confirm appointments for office visits and studies; coordinate follow‑up appointments, referrals, and related tests as requested by providers.
Register and process patient arrivals quickly and efficiently according to office protocols and EMR system; ensure smooth check‑in.
Collect copayments at time of service and record all monies collected in accordance with office guidelines.
Verify and update patient information, insurance eligibility, and obtain referrals and authorizations prior to medical visits.
Process patient and insurance data accurately through electronic systems, website or telephone.
Support general administrative tasks and maintain organized front‑desk area.
Collaborate closely with clinical staff and other team members.
Required Experience / Skills
Knowledge of medical insurances (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial) including referrals and pre‑authorizations.
Ability to multitask and be flexible with daily tasks.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 years of work experience in the medical field.
EPIC experience.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Work Location: On‑site
Salary Range: $20 – $23 per hour
Job Type: Full‑time
