The role of the Regional Director (RD) is to support and strengthen the clinical operations, growth, and overall success of the clinics. A key role will be to assist and oversee the development of key staff within all clinics in their region. It is important that the RD provides a high level of support to the clinic directors in terms of coaching and developing behaviors to create a successful clinic both operationally and culturally.
The RD will take the lead in marketing and building key physician relationships in their region, as well as be responsible for hiring and recruiting for their region. They must be able to communicate effectively with all team members including but not limited to the Chief Executive Officer, executive team, care coordinators, finance team, clinicians, Human Resources, marketing, and the billing team.
Responsibilities
Works in conjunction with Human Resources and Recruiting teams to hire professional staff
Facilitate and monitor clinic openings while working with Clinic Directors to obtain autonomy and proficiency in clinic operations
Lead Clinic Directors and hold them accountable by measured profitability and growth in the assigned region
Educate and mentor Clinic Directors on performance expectations and staff development
Seek out business opportunities and relay to Chief Executive Office when appropriate
Monitor monthly regional financial reports; implement changes as necessary to support growth and operations
Ability to achieve the key metrics in terms of financial and operational excellence
Manage annual reviews of employees within their region
Oversee Quarterly Summit Meetings and presentations
Supervise weekly 15Five participation & WIG calls
Prepare and monitor budgets, purchase equipment and supplies, oversee maintenance of the facility
Execute all other duties assigned
Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
Unrestricted licensure to practice in applicable state of employment
Minimum five years of clinical experience preferred
Board certification preferred
Completion of EPPM and PTVille
Ability to organize tasks, prioritize goals, and meet deadlines
Strong understanding of operations, reimbursement, documentation, and compliance
Able to manage conflicts that arise with staff in a professional manner, ensuring a positive work environment
Manage staff scheduling
