About the Position of Automotive Mechanic
As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks, complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Qualifications
Eligibility: – at least 18 years of age; – legally authorized to work in the United States; – 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; – extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
Preferred qualifications:
State inspection license(s)
ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5)
Physical requirements: Perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair; stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
