Job Description
At Regions, the Mortgage Loan Coordinator provides general sales and administrative support for an assigned mortgage sales office.
Primary Responsibilities
Schedule customer application appointments for Mortgage Loan Originators.
Obtain closing agent approvals and changes.
Create, manage and distribute all management reports.
Handle routine and complex customer questions and assist with problem resolution via phone or email.
Act as the main point of contact for customers and collect additional documentation as needed.
Prepare files for submission to the Operations department.
Obtain corrections for any audit or post-closing exceptions required from the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Assist with walk-in customers.
Handle basic administrative tasks as needed.
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. It is incentive eligible and requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year of administrative or mortgage experience.
Skills and Competencies
Good verbal and written communication.
Good customer service and organizational skills.

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
Job Range Target
Minimum: $47,975.00 USD
Median: $60,467.50 USD
Incentive Pay Plans
This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
