We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanic to support maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed manufacturing equipment in a production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, rapid diagnostics, and effective repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
This is a hands‑on, floor‑based role requiring strong technical expertise in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and industrial equipment repair.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment
Diagnose and resolve PLC and control system issues
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Maintain motors, relays, contactors, pumps, compressors, and related equipment
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Document repairs and maintenance activities in CMMS
Support spare parts inventory and maintenance planning
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Shift:
5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 12-hour continental shift (3 days one week, 4 days the following, off every other weekend)
Requirements
Industrial manufacturing or military maintenance experience
Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial motor controls
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance
Ability to work independently in an off‑shift environment
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, and standing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with extrusion, blown film, flexographic printing, lamination, or slitting equipment
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience with CMMS systems
Background in packaging or plastics manufacturing
Manufacturing/production floor setting
Exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
