We’re currently looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder to join a well‑established team based in Morpeth. The role involves welding mild and structural steel across varying thicknesses, working to high quality and safety standards.
Job Specification
TIG welding steel components ranging from 3mm to 25mm
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Producing high‑quality welds to meet specification and tolerances
Carrying out basic quality checks on completed work
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Personal Specification
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication
City & Guilds Welding qualifications would be advantageous
Coded welder certification desirable but not essential
Time‑served welders with strong TIG experience
Negotiable rate
