The Role
The Process Technician is responsible for fitment and installation of automotive components in your general function. In addition, you will use error‑proofing equipment, torque guns and general assembly tools, to carry out the responsibilities of your role with safety at the forefront. This role will also give you the opportunity to stay abreast of current product development and trends in your area of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to follow sequencing, have basic computer user and terminology awareness. The role allows you to make most job‑related decisions with minimal assistance and will help to provide suggestions and guidance to other teammates as needed.
What You’ll Do
Daily use of assembly tools and processes
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during vehicle builds
Read general automotive process documents and drawings
Perform tasks in support of achieving deliverables
Comprehend multiple tasks and achieve results with little to no supervision
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
HS diploma with relevant work experience, technical coursework/training or professional certifications
5 years of automotive experience in vehicle/component assembly
Ability to work 1st shift (shift is four (4) 10's, Monday - Thursday)

Armoring experience
Military experience
2 years of proven experiences that include any combination of the following: machine shop fabrication equipment, automotive assembly, one‑off/prototype vehicle builds
