Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. Responsibilities
Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures.
Utilizes accepted quality control techniques by manual, semi-automated, or automated methodologies and equipment.
Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist in other laboratory activities as requested.
Perform Section Head duties when Section Head is not available.
Provide direct care to patients within the following age brackets: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Qualifications
Florida State License as Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor required.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
B.S. degree in Medical Technology or equivalent with proper certification by the Board of Registry (ASCP) or NCA is required.
Previous experience as medical technologist preferred.
