We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Field Service Manager to lead and develop a high-performing technician team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across projects. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and enjoys mentoring others.**What You’ll Do:*** Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineering technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and growth* Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification* Monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support* Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements* Conduct quality control checks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency* Manage inventory, procurement, and budget for technician operations* Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize work and align on project goals* Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner* Hire, onboard, and train new technicians* Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting on team activities* Lead team meetings and training sessions to support continuous development**What You'll Bring:*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Management, or a related field* 4+ years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role* Strong knowledge of engineering principles and technical operations* Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels* A proactive mindset with the ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions*#LI-JO2*Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
