The Manager of Imaging Services typically oversees a total of up to 40 staff, including imaging technologists, supervisors, leads, and/or support personnel.
The Manager works closely with the Director of Imaging and additional Imaging Services and/or medical center leadership to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and patient care processes and initiatives aimed at creating best in class services on behalf of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). The Department of Imaging Services at
OSUWMC is comprised of all Radiology and Imaging Services, including, but not limited to, Plain Film Radiographics, MR, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology.
Clinical settings may include inpatient modality suites, emergency departments, operating rooms, procedural areas and labs, patient bedside, and ambulatory clinics.**Position Summary**The manager is responsible for operations and compliance oversight for the team or clinic, developing opportunities for streamlining and creating efficiencies; participates with department leadership in strategic development and planning activities consistent with the vision, mission and strategic goals of OSUWMC.
Responsible for promoting and implementing actions to support improved employee engagement. Ensures**Minimum Qualifications****For Hire:**
Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Science or related field of study.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Imaging Technologist. Preferred experience with EMR, timekeeping systems, and imaging informatics systems.
