We are looking for a Project Support Specialist to join our team in Casa Grande. In this vital role, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines—you will be the primary guardian of our plant’s standards. You will lead, mentor, and oversee third‑party contractors to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Safety & Quality Leadership:
Act as the primary monitor for all onsite contractor projects, ensuring strict adherence to EHS&S and GMP standards.
Onsite Liaison:
Serve as the "go‑to" person for contractors, providing essential training on site‑specific procedures and plant regulations.
Operational Excellence:
Conduct safety and quality checklists, oversee sanitation practices, and help keep projects on track.
Problem Solving:
Assist with root‑cause investigations if issues arise and implement solutions to prevent future hazards.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare reports to keep plant leadership informed of project status.
What You’ll Need (Requirements)
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment (Required).
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead projects, communicate effectively with diverse teams, and solve problems on the fly.
Technical Savvy:
Comfort working with both technical contractor teams and site management.
Flexibility:
A "get the job done" mindset with the ability to adjust your schedule based on project timelines and onsite needs.
