About the Role
Initio Raise is building a network of
Investors in Residence (IIRs) —experienced angels, VCs, and capital allocators who help guide the next generation of investors inside our ecosystem.
This is a
coaching and influence role , not a capital deployment role.
You’ll work directly with
angel investors and emerging fund managers , helping them evaluate deals, refine their investment thesis, and make better decisions—while gaining access to curated deal flow and a growing investor network.
You bring
judgment and experience . We provide
deal flow, infrastructure, and distribution .
What You’ll Do
Coach angel investors and emerging managers on
deal evaluation and decision-making
Guide investors on
portfolio construction, check sizing, and diversification strategy
Help refine
investment theses and sector focus
Break down real opportunities (strengths, risks, positioning)
Host
investor education sessions, roundtables, and discussions
Support onboarding and development of new investors in the ecosystem
Refer accredited investors into Initio’s investment platform, SPVs, and syndicates
