
Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer

This client is looking for a Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer who wants to join an innovative engineering firm specializing in advanced embedded systems and multidisciplinary product development. The role offers opportunities to lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of embedded hardware, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to technical leadership. This is a full time position that is onsite north of Boston, MA.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development
Extensive hands‑on work with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC)
Proficiency in digital and analog circuit design
Experience using PCB design tools (Altium Designer, KiCAD, Eagle)
Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
Use of debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG)
Desired Skills & Experience
Knowledge of EMC design and testing practices
Experience with wireless communication technologies (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, cellular, Zigbee)
Understanding of safety‑critical systems and relevant compliance standards
Exposure to FPGA design and VHDL/Verilog
Full product lifecycle experience from concept to production
