About the Role
Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a PRN clinical pediatric hospitalist to join a team of 12 physicians with a combined experience of more than 120 years in hospital medicine. The practice operates out of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, a 276‑bed tertiary care children's hospital serving five counties in northern Florida. The division of pediatric hospital medicine (PHM) provides comprehensive care to hospitalized children throughout the region.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide inpatient clinical care for hospitalized pediatric patients as a PRN hospitalist.
Teach categorical pediatric hospital medicine fellows, residents from the University of Florida‑Jacksonville, family‑medicine residents from affiliated institutions, and medical students from UF and Mayo Jacksonville.
Maintain access to all medical and surgical specialties and ancillary services.
Participate in leadership roles in the hospital, residency program, utilization management, and clinical operations, and be a member of the VIP network.
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in pediatrics or PHM.
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license.
