
Production Group Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Production Group Leader
to oversee multiple production lines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading line operations, supporting production teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee
3 production lines , each supported by a Production Line Leader
Lead and support production teams to meet daily operational goals
Ensure compliance with
safety, food safety, and quality standards
Monitor production performance including
cost, productivity, and efficiency
Coordinate line activities including
startup, changeovers, and shutdowns
Ensure all materials and supplies are available for production runs
Track and document production metrics and reports
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor adjustments/repairs as needed
Analyze line performance and identify areas for improvement
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 6S, standard work)
Provide coaching and feedback to team members and line leaders
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in
manufacturing or production environment
Prior
leadership or supervisory experience
required
Hands‑on experience as a
Machine Operator or Production Operator
preferred
Strong understanding of
production processes and equipment
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, production systems, etc.)
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Additional Requirements
Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Monday to Friday 11am to 8pm.
Once a month – a Saturday.
