This role is responsible for driving safe, high‑quality, and on‑schedule execution across all bridge concrete activities; from foundations and substructure to superstructure placements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all field operations for structural bridge concrete work (footings, columns, caps, decks, and closure pours)
Develop and execute work plans that ensure efficient production, safety, and quality compliance
Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and budget targets
Oversee concrete placement operations, formwork systems, rebar installation, and curing processes
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and governing standards (e.g., DOT, AASHTO)
Mentor and develop superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel to build high‑performing teams
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve field issues, and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders
Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on structural bridge concrete
Proven experience managing bridge projects, including complex staging and sequencing
Strong understanding of concrete production, placement techniques, and quality control requirements
Demonstrated leadership in safety, planning, and field execution
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
What We’re Looking For: A hands‑on leader with a self‑perform mindset; someone who understands how to build the work, not just manage it. This individual leads from the front, is willing to teach, mentor, and develop crews, and thrives in union, non‑union, and mixed workforce environments. We need someone who can hit the ground running on day one, bring technical credibility to the field, and drive performance through planning, accountability, and execution.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a construction or engineering‑related field preferred, or a combination of education and/or 7–10 years of construction supervision work experience
Physical Demands

Travel will be required to attend training and meetings.
