Description

This person will be able to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and fit fiberglass insulation around pipes, valves, and fittings to ensure proper coverage and thickness.
Apply adhesives, fasteners, or tape to secure insulation in place.
Inspect and repair damaged insulation or equipment to maintain efficiency and safety.
Follow technical specifications and blueprints to ensure correct material and thickness for energy efficiency standards.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to all safety procedures.
Handle and apply fiberglass pipe sections, tape, cloth, and adhesives as needed.
Report issues such as insulation damage or system inefficiencies to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
