Location & Role
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Operations Manager (level K) to support the 777 Change Incorporation & Refurbishment (CI&R) in Everett, Washington.

Overview
First-line leaders on the 777 CI&R team cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships to drive team and program objectives while fostering a work environment that prioritizes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork. This role is pivotal in promoting a first-pass quality approach within manufacturing, and it is essential for our leaders to be dedicated to the success of their team members.

Position Responsibilities

Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

3+ years working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

Must be willing to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment

1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data

1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

Must be adaptable and able to execute with urgency

Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Shift
This role is for 2nd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary Pay Range
$126,000 - $154,000
