Production Manager
in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. As the
Production Manager , you will manage and coordinate the safe production of quality products in a clean environment by directing, scheduling, organizing and monitoring staff and workflow.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving.
Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
Manage employee Pay per Skills program
Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
Daily production and waste reporting
Manage plant goals and Teamsharing program
Employee relations
Training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conflict resolution; team building; coaching and leading employees to improve; addressing complaints and resolving problems; documentation; and setting an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance.
Managing processes; making process improvements; tracking budget expenses; production planning; designing controls and instrumentation; strategic planning; complex decision-making; financial planning and strategies.
Maintains positive working relationship with employees and peers.
Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
Attend and participate in corporate safety training seminars and conference calls.
Proactively identify and mitigate any safety concerns within the plant.
Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 to 5 years of Production Management manufacturing/industrial experience.
High School diploma or GED.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Corrugated Manufacturing/mechanical experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
General mechanical skills/abilities – Troubleshooting, ability to understand the technical aspects of several complex machines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills – Must be able to accurately communicate with superiors, peers, and employees, as well as customers, vendors, and contractors.
