Job Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager to develop, implement, and maintain long-term strategies for high-potential products in our current and future portfolio, aiming to maximize market share and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth evaluation of the competitive landscape and identify opportunities; define key success factors and requirements for product launch; own product strategy document.
Work to gain market share in rural geography.
Define commercial strategy, including market access strategy and plan, and create marketing materials.
Support countries in generating local market access and execute market research to evaluate potential and strategies.
Identify and mitigate potential hurdles, threats, and risks, both front-end and back-end.
Ensure cross-functional alignment on forecasts, product volume capacity requirements, and launch preparation; recommend long-term product-specific capacity investments.
Accountable for the product's profit and loss (P&L), including profitability calculations reflecting product-specific sales and marketing costs and other investments before and after handing over to markets.
Define and monitor life cycle management strategy with development teams; optimize product allocation under supply constraints.
Extend responsibilities to portfolio optimization and rationalization, involving commercial growth strategies, portfolio rationalization, and conduct in-depth costing analysis and improvement strategies to enhance overall performance.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: B.Pharm./M.Pharm. and MBA.
Minimum work experience: 12-15 years.
Technical skills: proficiency in managing development projects, launch preparation, lifecycle management, market analysis, market access strategies, marketing tactics, and sales and marketing strategies.
Behavioural skills: ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, strong leadership and communication, critical thinking and problem-solving, strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
