Job Description
White Settlement ISD is seeking a dynamic and student-focused HighSchool Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This role is critical in supporting campus operations, student achievement, and a positive school culture. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who is passionate about fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in leading instructional programs to improve student learning outcomes.
Support teachers through coaching, professional development, and curriculum implementation.
Promote a positive school climate by managing student behavior, discipline, and engagement.
Ensure compliance with state and district policies, including attendance and academic accountability.
Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Oversee campus safety procedures and emergency preparedness.
Collaborate with the principal in managing school operations, staffing, and budget planning.
Qualifications
Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification required.
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in middle school teaching and/or administration.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Texas education laws, student discipline, and instructional best practices.
Position Type:
Full-Time
Salary:
$73,000 to $96,887 Per Year
Job Requirements
Master degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
