Duties include: (i) analyzing and processing authorized requisitions by establishing sources of supply and issuingfinancially binding purchase orders to obtain needed materials and services; (ii) maintaining thedesign of the current and future product design changes according to market needs; (iii) implementing sourcing strategies and supplier relationships; (iv) creating plans to achieve cost saving targets; (v) negotiating purchase contracts and follow-ups on delivery and quality compliance; (vi) recommending design change to customer product and initiating new supply programs; and (vii) researching to benchmark suppliers and processes. Telecommuting permitted one (1) day weekly.Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Engineering (any), Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field, plus three (3) years of related work experience as a Purchasing Agents, Except Wholesale, Retail, and Farm Products or related occupation.Must also have three (3) years of experience with/in: (i) maintaining inventory levels and part ordering policies in MRP software systems; (ii) analyzing and interpreting MRP reports and taking appropriate courses of action; (iii) Production, Inventory Control, and Quality improvement; (iv) managing suppliers of delivery and quality performance; and, (v) data collection, outsourcing and communication with procurement team.Must also have two (2) years of experience with/in: (i) specifications, drawings, product life cycle, bids, and quotations related to purchasing or product design and follow up; and (ii) handling purchasing and product design.Telecommuting permitted one (1) day weekly.Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $96,500 to $133,800.

Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
