Location: Pentagon (On-Site)

Customer: Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps

Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00

Clearance: DoD SECRET (Active)

Job Description
Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Visualization Specialist experienced in working with enterprise-wide logistics/financial data to support program efforts within Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. Ideally, this individual will be intimately familiar with Marine Corps logistics systems, logistics data and logistics data sources, and Marine Corps organization and structure.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the viability of data/data sources applying HQMC Data Governance rules

Apply approved techniques to format/transform data into informative visualization tools for enterprise-wide use

Design, implement, and maintain data visualization tools to support data analytics and visualization requirements

Coordinate and obtain information internal and external to prepare spreadsheets, briefings, reports, and/or recommendations to assist in providing responses to queries as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience with data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or similar roles

Bachelor's degree in operations research, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity of the organization structure of the Marine Corps operating forces, the Support Establishment, Reserves, and other DoD agencies

Have a mastery of HQMC administrative organization, processes, and procedures

Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint

Proficient in knowledge management to include 1) assessing needs and defining strategy, 2) analyze and design, 3) pilot and implement, 4) monitor and improve.

Security Clearance

Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
