Our team focuses on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, Analytical Methods & Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

In this role you will develop software within an agile team, turning stories into implementable code, designing, testing, and deploying solutions. You will follow Behavior Driven Development (BDD), implement robust testing with DevOps automation, and leverage commercial test automation tools. Opportunities exist in Java, embedded C++, scripting languages, object‑oriented modeling tools, low‑level programming, serialization, and dependency injection.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop software individually and as part of an agile team.
Participate in Program Increment planning and team activities.
Analyze complex system requirements, applying design tools and formal specifications.
Use CASE tools, sound software engineering principles to create maintainable, reliable, reusable code.
Manage and control software processes throughout coding.
Promote code reuse and cross‑program collaboration by creating shared functions and actions.
Engineer, author, tune, and document automation scripts in a dev environment and deploy to test/production benches.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience with Java.
Familiarity with Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, WADL, PERL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins.
Experience with Web Application UI development, database structures, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT.
Knowledge of cryptographic system technologies (sym/asym cryptography, ASN.1, XML canonicalization, digital signatures).
Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux.
Documented professional experience with web services.
Strong understanding of software development principles.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and communicate effectively.
Independent thinker capable of high‑quality work in a fast‑moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
High‑level requirements management, secure systems engineering, trade‑off analysis, interface control, continuous integration.
Agile development practices (Pair Programming, TDD, Refactoring, ATDD).
Domain‑specific language development and integration.
Implement scripting structures for DSL interpretation.
Object‑oriented modeling tools experience.
Real‑time embedded software development.
Experience with JEE (EJB, JPA, JTA, JAX‑B, JAX‑RS, JAX‑WS), application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss), scripting.
FITNesse, Mockito, Cucumber, UFT, Selenium.
Behavior‑Driven Development.
Secure software development (Layer 7 Policy).
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, certification, or team experience.
Additional experience with J2EE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, Postgres, Oracle, Mongo, PowerShell.
Security Clearance
Must have TS/SCI with polygraph, up front.
Pay Range
$107,900.00 – $195,050.00
