Job Description
As an Investor Relations Analyst in Alternative Fund Services Investor Relations department, you will support the delivery of investor relations services to clients across Alternative Investment Services. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure client service excellence, assist in day‑to‑day operations, and contribute to process improvements. Job Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for a portfolio of clients and their investors, responding to phone calls and emails under supervision and escalating complex queries as needed
Assist in building and maintaining relationships with clients, investors, Alternative Investment Services teams, and other business groups across JPMorgan
Support transactional workflows, including maker/checker activities for investor transactions, and help resolve outstanding documentation (e.g., KYC/AML)
Perform completeness reviews and quality assurance checks related to investor or fund activity/changes
Partner with Investment Risk and Alternative Investment Services teams to ensure end-to-end processes are completed in line with JPMorgan Risk Management policies
Assist in systems implementations and data migrations as directed as well as contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting modifications
Help produce management information (MIS) as well as key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department and support the documentation of processes and procedures
Collaborate with colleagues in global teams and across functions
Participate in training and development activities to build knowledge and skills
Perform other tasks as assigned by team management, including supporting integration/implementation of new business or systems during peak cycles
Flexible work hours may be required to meet operational needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
At least 2 years of work experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and sensitivity to regulatory, risk, and control matters
Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workload
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented, with a willingness to learn from and support others
Knowledge of the Alternatives asset class and/or a passion to learn about all aspects of Alternatives (Hedge Funds and Private Investments)
Strong team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and strong interpersonal skills as required to interact with personnel across the team and firm
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or any relevant field
Project management and follow-through skills
Previous experience in alternative investment servicing, investor relations, or financial operations is advantageous
Comfort with organizing and interpreting large amounts of data
Demonstrate coding skill and knowledge of AI tools
