BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time CT Technologist (Days) for Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO).
Position Details
Day Shift: 5 days per week Mon‑Fri (6:30am‑3pm)
No Call!!!
Full‑Time (40 hours per week)
This position will rotate at the new Plaza West Tower, which includes a fleet of the world’s first photon‑counting CT scanners.
Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position
Radiologic / Radiology Technologist
$ 5% Differential on top of base rate for CT certification

Requirements
Associate degree or higher in a related field
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R) and/or CT
License or certification in one of the following: RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
Experience
Experience in one of the following areas may be an asset: Up‑coming Graduation Radiology students, MR, CT, RT, X‑ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X‑Ray Tech), Entry Level, Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, Special Procedures Technologist, Interventional Procedures Technologist, IR Tech, Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI), Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT) / Radiologic / Radiology Technologist - Interventional Radiology, Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Radiology Technician, Imaging Technologist, and CAT Scan Technologist, Computerized Axial Tomography.
Role Purpose
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Responsibilities
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
Qualifications
Education
– Associate or trade school equivalency.
Experience
– No experience required.
Supervisor Experience
– No experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
– IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
Preferred Requirements
– Fewer than 2 years’ experience.
Additional Certifications
– Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy.
