We are seeking a skilled and independent MRI Technologist to join a dedicated Radiology team. This role involves performing a variety of technical procedures with a focus on safety, accuracy, and high-quality patient care. You will work under limited supervision, utilizing independent judgment and initiative in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Overview
Salary:
Median of
$104,601/annually
(commensurate with experience).
Setting:
A comprehensive Radiology Department providing diagnostic services 24/7 to inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments.
Scope:
You will be responsible for a wide range of MRI procedures, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex MRI procedures independently with a high level of technical precision.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety to protect patients and staff.
Collaborate with the Director of Radiology and Medical Director to ensure clinical excellence.
Maintain quality assurance monitoring and evaluation for all performed scans.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this urgent opening, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Category: Requirement Education:
Graduation from a formal AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience:
Previous experience performing MRI in a hospital setting.
Certification:
Active
ARRT
and
MRI Registry
certifications.
Life Support:
Current
CPR Certification .
Technical:
Venipuncture Certification
(must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
References:
At least 2 recent supervisory references.
