Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine procedures, including PET, SPECT, and general nuclear medicine studies. The role requires proficiency in using Siemens PET CT and Philips nuclear medicine cameras. The technologist will also be involved in emergency cases on an on‑call basis.
Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols.
Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency cases.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year experience in nuclear medicine.
Current NMTCB and PET certifications required.
ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and CNMT certifications are preferred.
Valid nuclear medicine technologist license in the state of practice.
